  • Love when your Feeling Unworthy

    Love when your Feeling Unworthy

Love, from the Fruits of the Spirit Bible Study Series

Feeling unworthy of love is something we’ve all experienced at some point in life. As single sisters and daughters of TMH (The Most High), we often carry silent battles with self-doubt, loneliness, or the feeling that we keep falling short. But remember—those feelings of loneliness or falling short do not make you unworthy of love. We always have the unwavering love of TMH (Romans 5:8).

    Fruits of the Spirit love

    The battle with worth.

unworthiness often shows up unexpectedly. It stays tucked away in our insecurities, our mistakes, and times of brokenness. The world makes us believe we have to perform and fit this man-made standard of worth, based on accomplishments, relationship status, or material things like looks and money.

But TMH’s love is different. It’s not dependent on performance or achievements but on our commitment to Him. His love is consistent and sure above anyone else’s (1 John 3:1). Even when we fall short and feel the least deserving, TMH is not slack concerning His promises to us (2 Peter 3:9).

What the fruit of Love really means

The first fruit of the Spirit is love—and not the worldly love most people are chasing. TMH’s love is sacrificial, merciful, and fulfilling. His love doesn’t shame you for your mistakes or walk away when you’re broken. It’s the kind of love that grounds you in truth when everything else falls apart (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

Love isn’t something you earn through performance; it grows through obedience and staying close to TMH. Your job isn’t to “feel” worthy—it’s to receive the truth that you already are.

Receiving TMH’s Love in seasons of Unworthiness

Here are a few practical ways to feel TMH’s presence and love:

Sit in His presence ~ Sometimes we don’t have the words, but TMH already knows. Take time and invite Him to sit with you.

Speak the Word over yourself ~ Find scriptures that speak to your spirit. Speak them over yourself throughout the day, and meditate on them.

Write it out ~ Journal your thoughts and feelings, or write directly to Him—and wait for His response.

    Journaling Prompts

    • Journaling Prompts
    • What are the lies I’ve believed about my worth?
    • What does TMH say about my worth? Take some time and search the Scriptures.

    From Overflow to Others

Loving yourself and others from the overflow

When we open ourselves to receive TMH’s love, we begin to see ourselves with the same love and kindness that He does—and that overflows into how we treat others. You can’t properly love others without loving yourself first (Matthew 22:37-39). Remember, TMH never said we had to have all the answers He said to trust in Him.

  • Why the Fruits of the Spirit Matter as a Woman of YHWH

Why the Fruits of the Spirit Matter as a Woman of YHWH

An Introduction to the Fruits of the Spirit Bible Study Series

“As women walking with YESHUA, our identity is shaped by how we reflect his holy spirit.”

One way we reflect Him is by bearing the fruits of the Spirit. In this post, we’ll explore why developing these fruits matters in our everyday lives.

What are the Fruits of the Spirit

There are nine fruits of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, and Temperance (Galatians 5:22-23). Not to be confused with personality traits but the spiritual evidence of YHWH’s work in us. Galatians 5:24-26 reminds us that those who belong to Him have crucified the flesh and now live and walk in the Spirit.

How the Fruits of the Spirit are Specific to Daughters of The Most
    High.

The fruits are vital for us as women in this walk because they’re our moral compass as we grow and walk with Yeshua . This is how we represent him, how we show up in relationships, and how we navigate a culture that defines women by acts of service, body counts, and countless things that conflict with the Word of YHWH.

The fruits of the spirit ground us from friendships, family life, and of course, in courting. They guide how we love and respond to others. As women, we often influence those around us without even knowing it. But people are always watching. Remember Matthew 7:20: “By their fruits ye shall know them.”

    Understanding Each Fruit

    • Love ~ Unconditional Yeshua-like love in our everyday life (John 14:21)
    • Joy ~ Choosing joy, not based on good circumstances but on what YHWH promises. (Romans 8: 28)
    • Peace ~ Having that inner ‘calm in every situation especially when the enemy is sent to take you off your purpose. ( Proverbs 25:28)
    • Longsuffering ~ Especially in times when YHWH seems silent and you’re in that waiting season (Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8)
    • Goodness ~ Living with integrity at all times not for gain or recognition. ( Galatians 6: 10)
    • Meekness ~ Small acts of kindness and humility reflect YHWH’s heart. ( Ephesians 4: 320
    • Gentleness ~ In how we speak to others using love, and not harshness. (Galatians 6: 1)
    • Temperance ~ Honoring YHWH with our choices and using discipline emotionally, spiritually, and physically. (Proverbs 3: 5-60)
    • Faith ~ Trusting YHWH completely, even when you can’t see how things will work out, believing He is faithful to His promises. (Hebrews 11:1)

The Role of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is how we bear these fruits not simply by striving, but as they’re produced in us while we grow and surrender our will to His way. The hard part is submitting to His will and resisting our fleshly and unholy desires (James 4:7-10).

We can nurture the fruits of the Spirit through prayer, meditating on His Word, reading Scripture, journaling, and spending time with YHWH. Having a community plays a big part as well. Iron sharpens iron so surround yourself with like-minded people and show yourself and others grace.

    Conclusion

It’s so important to be intentional about living a Spirit filled life as a woman of YHWH. I encourage you to take time to reflect on at least one fruit you want to grow in. Ask YHWH to make you more like Yeshua fruitful and patient. Seek His guidance and strength on your walk.

    As always—Shalom, love, and light.
