A Journal Guide for Single Women of Faith
Hey sis hey đ
Itâs almost time for Passover, and Iâm so excited this is one of my favorite feast days.
Most of the time, we hear about the historical facts the story of Moses and how YHWH used him to free the Israelites from captivity. But Passover is more than history⌠itâs deeply personal.
Itâs also a time of reflection, gratitude, and spiritual renewal.
So sis, if youâre like me single and keeping the feast donât be discouraged. Decorate your home, try some new recipes, and prepare your spirit.
Thereâs a blessing in the alone time we get in this season to be with the Father. đ¤
One of the best ways to reflect on YHWHâs deliverance is through journaling something Iâm excited to be getting back into.
So if you want to do this Passover reflection journal with me⌠keep reading.
Why Reflection Matters During Passover
Scripture focus:
During Passover, reflection helps us see how YHWH has been moving in our lives.
When we take time to remember what He has already doneâwhether itâs growing in confidence, stepping out of our comfort zone, or even making new connectionsâwe begin to appreciate how far He has brought us.
For some of us, that deliverance may look like:
- coming out of depression
- gaining discipline
- healing from past situations
And we canât forget gratitude for His protection and mercy⌠whew, I donât know about you, but I be needing that.
Passover and Personal Deliverance
One of the most powerful themes of Passover is deliverance.
In Exodus, YHWH brought His people out of bondage after generations of oppression. What seemed impossible became reality through His power and faithfulness.
And while life looks different today, many of us have experienced our own âEgyptâ seasons.
Times when we felt stuck.
Moments when fear, heartbreak, or doubt weighed heavy on our hearts.
Passover calls us to look back and acknowledge all the ways YHWH has already delivered us.
Maybe He carried you through a difficult season. Or removed people or situations that were no longer healthy.
Sometimes it’s strengthening your faith in ways you didnât expect.
When we take time to remember His faithfulness, gratitude begins to grow and our trust in Him deepens.
Passover and Removing Spiritual âLeaven
Scripture:
Removing spiritual leaven is just as important as removing physical leaven.
It symbolizes letting go of sin and anything that quietly grows and takes up space in our lives.
That can look like:
- resentment
- comparison
- negative thought patterns
- habits that pull us away from YHWH
I encourage us all to use this Passover season to reflect on what needs to be removed or surrendered.
Not with shame but with honesty and grace.

A few simple ways to create that quiet time:
- add it to your morning or night routine
- light a candle (or incense if youâre like me)
- read Exodus 12
- pray and reflect on what you read
- thank YHWH for everything Heâs brought you through
It doesnât have to be elaborate.
Even a quiet moment with the Father is meaningful.
Closing Encouragement
Sis, Passover is more than a historical event or just a feast we keep.
Itâs a reminder that YHWH is still delivering, still guiding, and still protecting His people.
Taking time to reflect on His faithfulness brings clarity, healing, and renewed trust in His plan for your life.
Whether youâre observing with family, friends, or quietly on your own know this:
Your time spent seeking Him is never wasted.
Your prayers, reflection, and obedience matter.
May this Passover be a moment of gratitude, renewal, and deeper connection with the One who continues to lead His people into freedom. đ¤
